Motherboard Anatomy
Explore the physical foundation of computer architecture. Interact with the 3D model to learn about key motherboard components.
AIM
Objective
To identify and understand the function of essential motherboard components including the Processor Socket, RAM slots, Expansion Slots, and I/O ports.
THEORY
Motherboard Basics
The motherboard is the main printed circuit board (PCB) in general-purpose computers. It holds and allows communication between many of the crucial electronic components of a system, such as the CPU and memory, and provides connectors for other peripherals.
